Following its global release in some markets, including the United States and China, the Apple iPhone 12 series is now officially priced in the Philippines. Better yet, they’re surprisingly a bit cheaper (but still not a bargain) compared with previous iterations.

You might recall that the base iPhone 11 was priced at P47,990, while the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro Max arrived with P67,990 and P73,990 price tags, respectively.

The most affordable model in this year’s lineup is the Apple iPhone 12 Mini, which starts at P43,990 for the unit with 64GB storage. The most expensive new iPhone? You’re looking at the 512GB iPhone 12 Max Pro sporting an P86,990 price tag.

According to Apple’s official online store, the pricing of the Apple iPhone 12 series in the Philippines is as follows:

Again, the good news is that the latest iPhones are more affordable than the iPhone 11 series at launch, in addition to offering more storage across the board. The not-so-good news? You can’t purchase any of them yet. Not even the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro, which hit international markets first.

In any case, they price announcement suggests Apple’s latest smartphones will be available through official channels soon, as we discovered earlier. And if it’s any comfort, at least you have one more legitimate reason not to buy an iPhone 12 from gray-market resellers. The wait shouldn’t be too long, iPhone fans. Cross those fingers.
