Realme will launch possibly the world’s most affordable smartphone with a fast refresh rate next week.
(Update, September 21: Just launched! Read Realme C17 is an entry-level phone with a 90Hz screen.)
The company earlier confirmed today through its official social media page that the Realme C17, rumored to sport the same design and specs as the upcoming OnePlus Clover and OPPO A53, will make its debut September 21 in Bangladesh. The phone will arrive with a 5,000mAh battery and quad rear cameras, just like most other Realme handsets today.

Impressively, the Realme C17 also boasts a 90Hz screen, which presumably runs at 720p resolution. Still, this could make the phone the most affordable phone on the market with a higher-than-normal refresh. This is assuming, of course, that it will be priced lower than the Realme 7i, which is also expected to sport a fast screen, but has been rumored to pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 chipset mated to 8GB RAM.

Leaked images reveal that the Realme C17 will see a Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 under the hood, coupled with 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The Snapdragon 460 is built on an 11nm process and provides up to 70% and 60% higher CPU and GPU performance, respectively, compared to the previous generation. It has an overall Antutu benchmark score of 152,227, which is quite impressive for an entry-level release.

Leaked Realme C17 details
The massive battery will support 18-watt fast charging over a USB-C interface. The 8-megapixel front-facing camera, on the other hand, sits in a punch hole on the upper-left side of the screen, while the main camera system has been confirmed to incorporate a 13-megapixel sensor alongside an 8-megapixel ultra-wide shooter and a pair of 2-megapixel monochrome and macro sensors.
On the software side, the C17 will likely come equipped with Realme UI based on Android 10, similar to Realme’s most recent devices. The phone will be available in Navy Blue and Lake Green colors.
