POCO X3 launching in PH. Leaked prices, pics, PH release here

Xiaomi Philippines has been hinting since September 1 that the company’s upcoming POCO phone will be released locally. Today, September 4, it finally confirmed to us that “the Philippines is one of the few markets that will launch the X3 along with global.”

(Update, September 7: And it’s official! Read POCO X3 NFC with SD 732G, 120Hz screen priced from P10,990 [$226].)

The X3 it mentioned in the email is, of course, the POCO X3 NFC, whose international launch is scheduled for September 7. Head over to the brand’s Facebook page at 8 p.m. on that day to join the virtual event.

In case you didn’t know, the smartphone is the first carry Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 732G gaming-focused chip, which features an overclocked Adreno 618 GPU that provides up to 15% faster graphics performance than the previous generation. The chipset’s performance Kryo 470 Prime core runs at up to 2.3GHz. Its Antutu benchmark score? More than 300,000.

Interestingly, the POCO X3 NFC has been spotted at Xiaomi’s official store on Shopee Philippines with the following prices: P10,990 (around $226) for the standard version and P12,990 ($268) for the premium edition.

The listings are still there; we just checked. However, the prices have already been deleted. Well, at least we know that there will be black and blue color variants and that the phone will be available in the country starting at 11:59 p.m. on September 8, just in time for Shopee’s nationwide 9.9 sale.

A full hands-on video of the POCO X3 NFC was also uploaded by Spanish-speaking website Tecvideos TV to YouTube, but it’s already nowhere to be found. People who were able to watch it took screenshots, though, and you can find some of them below.

The model shown in the video has 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. It’s revealed that the smartphone sports a 6.67-inch LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, a Full HD+ resolution, and punch hole for the 20-megapixel selfie camera. It’s also said to come with a battery rated at over 5,100mAh. The 64-megapixel main rear sensor POCO confirmed earlier supposedly has f/1.79 aperture and support for 4K video recording at 30 fps.
