If you’ve been wondering when the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus would be officially available in the Philippines, wonder no more: Both Globe and Smart have made an announcement as to when we could expect to see Apple’s new smartphones in stores, with the former confirming what the latter had earlier said in a press release dated October 24.
November 6, 2015, is the date to remember for the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus’ local release. Recall that the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus were made available through carrier stores on November 14 of last year.

There are still no pricing details available for the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus as of this writing. No worries, though; as with previous launches, a microsite detailing off-contract and postpaid-plan prices should follow shortly.
It’s likely that the iPhone 6s will be free on postpaid plans that come with a monthly fee of at least P2,500, while the bigger and more specced-out iPhone 6s Plus will command a higher monthly premium. Those interested in unlocked models can expect to plunk down between P34,000 and P39,000 for base models of the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus.
The iPhone 6s has become Apple’s best-selling phone so far, with 13 million units sold just three days after its initial launch. It smashed the previous sales record of 10 million units for last year’s iPhone.
