Fresh from announcing its 125-watt UltraDart Flash Charging technology on the global stage, Realme has revealed that its Realme C11 budget smartphone will be launched in the Philippines July 23.
(Update, July 23: And it’s official in the Philippines! See its price and availability here. And read our review of the phone here!)
If you’re not familiar, the C11 is one of the first devices to launch with the new MediaTek Helio G35 chipset inside. The G35 is also found in Xiaomi’s Redmi 9C, which has been recently confirmed to arrive in local stores.
The phone debuted in Malaysia last month. It has a price tag of RM429 (around P4,973 or $100 converted) for the 2GB/32GB model. We don’t know how much it will be in the Philippines, but it should be cheaper than the Realme C3 and Realme 6i, which feature faster and better specs, including a physical fingerprint sensor.

As for the phone itself, the upcoming budget blower sports an interesting design, with a textured back and a prominent Realme branding in a vertical orientation. It certainly doesn’t look cheap despite its budget price. It also gets a squircle camera module on the rear, as seen on devices such as the Huawei Mate 20 series and Apple iPhone 11 lineup. The main camera is 13 megapixels, while the secondary portrait shooter carries a 2-megapixel sensor.

On the front, there’s a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD with a waterdrop notch at the top for the 5-megapixel selfie camera. The Realme C11 includes a 5,000mAh battery as well and charges over a microUSB port. The phone runs Android 10-based Realme UI out of the box.
We don’t know much about the MediaTek Helio G35, but we do have high hopes for it after seeing it score 900 points and 4,153 points in the Geekbench single- and multi-core tests, respectively. The 12nm SoC is equipped with eight Cortex-A53 cores and PowerVR GE8320 graphics operating at up to 680MHz.
