The OPPO A52 was spotted on the Google Play Console website, along with a couple of device renders showing the phone’s front and back design. Elsewhere, a post on Weibo shared some key specifications of the upcoming handset, as well as official-looking renders that properly show the punch hole in the upper-left corner of the screen.
Recall that the OPPO A52 appeared on China’s TENAA certification site with the model number PDAM10 last month. Today’s news suggests a launch may be imminent, probably tomorrow, April 20. So, how much will the OPPO A52 cost? The phone’s unofficial listing suggests a ¥1,799 (P12,924 or $254) price tag in China.
According to the leaks, the smartphone will be about the same size as the A92s, measuring 162 x 75.5 x 8.9mm and weighing about 192 grams. Design-wise, the back is reminiscent of OPPO’s Reno 3 series.
The punch-hole LCD screen is 6.5 inches and has an FHD+ resolution, while the front-facing camera up top is 8 megapixels. The display won’t feature an embedded fingerprint reader; instead, the biometrics sensor is embedded in the power button on the right side, opposite the up and down volume buttons.
