The online event was headlined by a trio of flagship smartphones — the Huawei P40, P40 Pro, and P40 Pro Plus — but a bunch of never-before-seen products and software features were also shown off, including the following:
- Huawei P40 Pro Glamorous Case. This case for the P40 Pro is included in a special gift box. Huawei says it is covered with Swarovski crystals that were carved and polished to produce a shimmering effect in certain lighting.
- Huawei Monogram Series Case. There are six stylish monogram cases available for the P40 series. They’re made of silicone, so they’re soft, flexible, and comfortable to hold.
- Huawei P40 Pro Game Case. This adds two shoulder buttons on the side of the P40 Pro to give gamers an advantage when playing competitive online shooting games.
- Huawei Snorkeling Case. Huawei’s snorkeling case not only provides protection against bumps and drops, it also allows you to take pictures underwater. It has a dedicated power button, a shutter key, and physical zoom controls.
- Profoto C1. While not a new product, Huawei has partnered with Profoto to make the P40 series compatible with its range of smartphone lights that can do both flash and continuous light.
- “Hey Celia.” Meet Huawei’s new voice assistant for its phones and ever-expanding lineup of connected products. The feature will roll out in a future software update for compatible devices.
- Huawei Sound X. Huawei’s new wireless smart speaker was made in collaboration with French audio firm Devialet and comes with all the bells and whistles of a premium Bluetooth speaker.
- Huawei Watch GT 2 Champagne Gold Edition. The new colorway comes with new straps and custom watch faces to match the color of the frame and strap. Like the standard Watch GT 2, it is powered by Huawei’s low-power Kirin A1 chipset and boasts 2 weeks of battery life.
- Huawei Watch GT 2e. The Watch GT 2e is a sportier version of the Watch GT 2. It has an SpO2 monitor for measuring your blood oxygen’s saturation and includes 100 workout modes, including Rock Climbing, Skateboard, Parkour, and many others.
- Gentle Monster x Huawei Eyewear (Spring/Summer 2020). This product lineup combines fashion and technology in smart eyeglasses with built-in speakers, microphones, and sensors. On top of that, it offers voice-assistant integration, wear-detection features, high-def audio playback, and wireless charging. Perhaps more importantly, these pairs of smart glasses don’t look ridiculous.
Here’s a short recap video detailing everything you should look forward to from the technology giant.
