OPPO has rescheduled its upcoming flagship series’ global launch from February 22 to March 6. When will it unveil the lineup in the Philippines, though?

Today, we finally have the answer to that question. According to a statement sent by the No. 1 smartphone brand in the country, the OPPO Find X2 Pro will be introduced here sometime in March.
While we already know the key specs and features of the regular Find X2, courtesy of a listing on Shopee, there’s not much information about the Pro model. However, it’s been confirmed to pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor.

It looks like OPPO is emphasizing the display of the Find X2 Pro. Because the highlight in the press release sent to us at Revü reads, “[The OPPO Find X2 Pro] will feature the most advanced screen OPPO has developed to date, with emphasis on resolution, screen refresh rate, color, and high dynamic range.”
The X2 boasts a 3K Super AMOLED display with a fast 120Hz refresh rate. That likely means that the Pro variant gets the same Super AMOLED screen with a similar refresh rate — but at 4K resolution this time, no?

The X2 is confirmed to feature a 3K display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The OPPO Find X2 Pro probably has a 4K screen then
Word has it that the OPPO Find X2 Pro sports a periscope-style telephoto lens with 60x digital zoom. Earlier reports said the sensor is paired with three other rear cameras and the front is supposed to come with two selfie shooters.
However, a leaked render of the smartphone, seen in the feature image of this article, shows a device with three cameras on the back. Or are our eyes deceiving us?
March 6 is just a few days away, so we’ll be waiting for the confirmation for only a little over a week. Stay tuned.
