It’s one of the most affordable 48-megapixel camera phones, and it’s already official in the Philippines.

Huawei Philippines today launched the Huawei Y7p, which is priced at only P9,990 (around $198) locally. Those who preorder the device from offline stores from February 17 to 27 gets the following freebies:

  • CM510 Bluetooth speaker worth P990 ($20);
  • 50GB of cloud storage for two months; and
  • 500 Huawei points via AppGallery.

On Lazada and Shopee, these are the listed freebies:

  • power bank valued at P1,499 ($30);
  • CM510 Bluetooth speaker worth P990 ($20);
  • 50GB of cloud storage for three months;
  • 500 Huawei points via AppGallery;
  • P1,000 ($20) voucher for the Huawei FreeBuds 3 (claiming begins February 28 and ends March 9); and
  • 50% cashback for the first 10 customers.

Availability is scheduled for February 28.

Two other cameras — an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle shooter and a 2-megapixel depth cam — are paired with the 48-megapixel main sensor. Together, they can recognize 21 category labels and over 500 scene types.

The front of the Huawei Y7p is a FullView Display that measures 6.39 inches and boasts a high screen-to-body ratio of 90.15% for a better viewing experience. Inside the small punch hole on the upper-left side of the display is an 8-megapixel selfie camera.

Powering the unit is a 4,000mAh battery that Huawei claims can last for 22 hours of video playback, 20 hours of web surfing, or 111 hours of music playing.

The Huawei Y7p relies on a Kirin 710F chipset paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of built-in storage, which you can extend using a memory card with up to 512GB of space. And it’s running EMUI 9.1 with Huawei Mobile Services installed.
