After tossing its hat into the TWS earphones ring with the release of the Buds Air, Realme is expected to join the likes of Huawei, Samsung, and Xiaomi in the wearable category next.
The Bureau of Indian Standards or BIS has already certified a Realme smartwatch. A TV will reportedly come later this year. But before any of that, the former OPPO sub-brand is likely to test the waters in the world of fitness-focused wearables first. To wit, a poster image of a Realme fitness band has been spotted on China’s Weibo social network.
It indicates the tracker will be called Realme SayHat — stylized as Realme Sayहत — in India. The render also shows a device with a yellow silicone band similar to the one teased by Realme CEO Madhav Sheth at the Indian launch of the Realme 5i.
It likewise confirms a couple of typical fitness-tracker features like a step counter and a burned-calories counter. As for the screen, reports say the tracking device itself might have a monochrome OLED display measuring 0.78 inches.

Interestingly, the render doesn’t confirm a heart-rate sensor, which would be a big omission for any wearable, but it should also make for a more affordable device. You might recall that Xiaomi skipped heart-rate monitoring on the Mi Band 3i. Other possible features of note include support for Bluetooth 4.2 Low Energy; a phone-finder function; sleep tracking; and notification alerts.
Realme hasn’t confirmed the fitness band yet, and we don’t have a clue when it will be available. But the Realme SayHat is expected to hit India first, then China and the rest of Asia soon.
