Realme’s first 5G smartphone will debut January 7. But we don’t have to wait two more days to see its specs; the website of Chinese certification authority TENAA already has them.

Bearing the model number RMX2051, the Realme X50 5G comes with a 6.57-inch TFT screen with a 2,400 x 1,080 resolution. There’s a pill-shaped punch hole on the display for the two selfie cameras with a 16-megapixel main sensor and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide one.

On the back is a quad-camera module that consists of 64-megapixel primary, 8-megapixel super-wide, 12-megapixel telephoto, and 2-megapixel depth sensors.
At the heart of the Realme X50 5G is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor clocked at 2.4GHz. According to the TENAA listing, the NSA- and SA-enabled phone supports bands 41, 78, and 79. There are three memory configurations: 6GB/64GB, 8GB/128GB, and 12GB/256GB.

The X50 5G also features a 4,100mAh battery, runs Android 10 out of the box, measures 163.8 x 75.8 x 8.9 millimeters, and weighs 202 grams. It will be available in black, blue, purple, and gold color variants.
No images accompany the listing, but there’s no need for those, really. Realme itself has already published a lot of them.
We expect a “Lite” version to be launched along with the Realme X50 5G on the day Xiaomi’s Redmi K30 5G is scheduled to go on sale.
