Two yet-to-be-announced Realme smartphones have been spotted on the website of Singapore’s Infocomm Media Development Authority, suggesting the Realme 5i and Realme C3 are ready to make their debut.
(Update, January 8: The 5i is official! See Realme 5i is a lot like the Realme 5 but cheaper.)
With both handsets getting certification from the Singapore government’s telecommunications regulations board, we expect an official launch as soon as January. Right when Realme plans to introduce its first 5G smartphone in China, the Realme X50.
The Realme 5i bears the model name RMX2030. Unfortunately, the listing on IMDA’s site does not give us a peek under the hood to see what processor it is using. The same device has earlier bagged certifications from Indonesia’s TKDN, Thailand’s NBTC, India’s BIS, and the Wi-Fi Alliance.

At this point, the series already has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665-powered Realme 5 and Realme 5s and the Realme 5 Pro, which uses a Snapdragon 712 chip, so anything goes with guessing what else is coming. Perhaps the Realme 5i sits somewhere between the 5 and 5s?

As for the Realme C3, this handset should be an upgraded version of the Realme C2. With the model name RMX1941, the Realme C3 has been in IMDA’s database since May 2019, and it corresponds with one of the C2’s versions.
We will keep you posted for any updates on these smartphones, especially as soon as they are confirmed to launch in the Philippines. Stay tuned.
