Before the Realme Buds Air were launched in India on December 17, there was a leak that revealed the cost of the wireless earbuds. Now that they’re official, we’re happy to report that they come bearing a lower price tag. The Realme Buds Air cost ₹3,999 (around P2,848, $56) instead of the rumored ₹4,999 (P3,560, $70).

The Apple AirPods-like earphones promise up to 17 hours of music playback on a single charge. The caveat is this relies on the extra juice provided by the bundled charging case. With the latter, the Buds Air offer three hours of music playback.

The Realme Buds Air bring two compelling features to their price range: wireless charging and USB-Type C charging. The charging case supports the Qi wireless standard, letting you use any Qi-compatible chargers. The company plans to launch a Realme-branded Qi Wireless Charger soon.

This wearable comes with a 12mm bass boost diver, environment noise cancellation for calls, dual-channel transmission, and a multi-layer composite diaphragm. For gamers, these TWS earbuds have a dedicated gaming mode with low latency.

The Realme Buds Air also offer auto-connection and Bluetooth 5.0 support, two microphones, Google Assistant integration, touch controls, and in-ear detection. They are easy to carry around with a single earbud weighing in at 4.16 grams and the charging case at 42.3 grams.

Available in yellow, black, and white, the Realme Buds Air first went on sale in India via Flipkart and Realme.com on its launch day. The company will hold another sale before Christmas Eve, on December 23. We’re keeping our fingers crossed that Realme Philippines will bring them to our shores.
