After a brief preorder period that started November 29, the Honor 9X is now officially available in the Philippines with a suggested retail price of P12,490, or approximately $246 converted.

The company highlights the Honor 9X’s photography and gaming capabilities, referring to it as a lifestyle phone that can handle some of today’s most graphically intensive titles. And, it does run games like Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, NBA 2K20, and Call of Duty: Mobile pretty well, thanks to its combination of hardware and software.

The Honor 9X uses Huawei’s 12nm Kirin 710F processor with 6GB RAM and 128GB of expandable storage. It also has GPU Turbo 3.0 technology baked in to deliver smoother and more consistent frame rates on supported titles. With viewing experience also a priority, the phone sports a 6.59-inch LCD screen with no notch and slim bezels all around.

For taking great pictures and selfies to share on social media, the Honor 9X gets a triple-camera setup around the back and a 16-megapixel front camera that pops up from the top of the handset. The main camera is 48 megapixels, while the secondary cameras include dedicated hardware for ultra-wide and portrait shots.
