The wait is almost over. After teasing the phone for several weeks, Honor will finally unveil the Honor 9X in the Philippines.

Again, the date to circle is November 28 November 26 (yes, it has been moved), and we expect its local price to be announced at the venue. It will be available from November 30 in all Honor kiosks and stores, as we previously reported.
And for good reasons. The Honor 9X is an affordable midranger with a 48-megapixel triple-camera setup at the back and a motorized selfie shooter. The screen is LCD and stretches to all four sides without a notch or camera hole to get in the way when gaming or watching a video.

On the inside, the phone is powered by a 12nm Kirin 710F processor backed by up to 6GB RAM and 128GB of expandable storage. It also sports a 4,000mAh battery that charges over USB-C. The Honor 9X runs EMUI 9.1 on top of Android 9.0 Pie, which will ship with the Google Play Store and other core apps from the internet giant.
The Honor 9X was released in China with a starting price of ¥1,399 (around P10,145 or $200). It’s likely that the phone will retail for around P10,000 ($196) when it arrives here. Its predecessor, the Honor 8X, was priced at P12,990 ($255) in the Philippines at launch.
We don’t know if the Honor 9X Pro will also be available on the local market, but we’re hoping to see it this month as well.
