The Nokia 7.2’s front panel doesn’t deviate much from its predecessor. There’s a bit more bezel than what we’re used to these days and a teardrop notch for the front-facing camera. But there’s still plenty of screen real estate to use. It has 6.3-inch display with 1,080 x 2,280 resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio.
The smartphone has four cameras all in all, with a circular triple-lens camera setup on the back and one front-facing shooter. On the rear is a 48-megapixel 1/2-inch primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture; a 5-megapixel depth-sensing unit; and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera with a 13mm f/2.2 aperture set on a bit of a camera bump. Meanwhile, the front-facing camera has a 20-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 aperture.

Powered by a somewhat dated Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor, the Nokia 7.2 — like other Nokia handsets — is an Android One device. This means that you get near-stock Android experience with software updates for two years and another year of security updates.
It still has a headphone jack, and just like on the Nokia 4.2, the notification light is embedded in the power button. For security purposes, Nokia offers facial unlock as well as a fingerprint reader on the back. And the battery is rated at 3,500mAh, and it charges through a USB Type-C port.
