Honor’s fitness wearable is now in the Philippines. Available in black, the Honor Band 5 is already listed on ecommerce site Shopee for P1,699 (around $32) and will come to all Honor concept stores and kiosks nationwide starting October 10, 2019.
The device is designed for those of you who want better control of your health and fitness goals as well as your day-to-day activities.
One of its highlights is round-the-clock heart rate tracking. Honor calls it the TruSeen 3.0 heart rate monitor, which offers “non-disruptive, 24-hour real-time heart rate monitoring” even while you sleep.
This feature works hand in hand with the smart sleep-quality tracker that can identify common sleeping problems. It can offer you a personalized assessment as well as suggestions on how you can sleep better.

The Honor Band 5 comes with a fitness tracker that can monitor your heart rate, workout time, distance, stride frequency, speed, oxygen levels, and calories. It can track activities like indoor and outdoor running, walking, and cycling, free training, rowing machine use, and swimming.
This fitness band is water-resistant up to 50 meters, and it has swim stroke recognition, too. Its six-axis sensor recognizes four main strokes — freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly. It can record speed, distance, calories, and SWOLF or Swim Golf score.

You can view the information on the large 0.95-inch full-color AMOLED touchscreen with 2.5D Curved Glass and up to 282 PPI. Its user interface is customizable. Honor offers different watch faces in its new Clock Face Store, which is available only on Android and is supported via an OTA upgrade. We still have to verify if this feature is available here already.
For your other daily needs, it can show call notifications, messages, and reminders. Do you lose your phone often? There is a phone finder feature as well. The Honor Band 5 can control your music and even serve as a remote trigger for taking selfies or group photos.
