Mark your calendars, people! After teasing the ASUS ROG Phone 2 in the country earlier this month, ASUS Philippines has announced the launch date of its latest gaming smartphone.
(October 12: Here’s the latest update: 12GB/1TB ASUS ROG Phone 2 launched in PH, too.)
The ASUS ROG Phone 2 will be launched October 11 at an online event that will be streamed live at 9 p.m. local time, presumably on ASUS’ social media pages. The announcement should include the phone’s pricing and availability, so it’s a must-watch if you plan on buying the device when it becomes officially available in stores.
In China, these are the prices of the ASUS ROG Phone 2:
- ¥3,499 (around P25,701 or $494): 8GB/128GB, Tencent-subsidized model, add ¥200 (P1,469 or $28) for the Chinese market-exclusive variant
- ¥5,999 (P44,064 or $847): 12GB/512GB, Tencent-subsidized model, add 200 (P1,469 or $28) for the Chinese market-exclusive variant
