Samsung Philippines’ Galaxy family just keeps on growing. It has launched the Samsung Galaxy A10s and Galaxy A20s alongside the A30s and A50s midrangers.
Both retail at under P10,000 (under around $192), making them worth a consideration if you’re looking for a budget Android device with a modern design and multiple cameras.
The smaller and less-specced-out Galaxy A10s with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage is priced at P6,990 ($135). The 4GB/64GB Galaxy A20s, on the other hand, costs P9,990 ($192) in the country. The refreshed models are priced the same as the outgoing Galaxy A10 and Galaxy A20, but come with slightly better specs.

The company has updated the Samsung Galaxy A10s with a faster octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 processor, a longer-lasting 4,000mAh battery, and a physical fingerprint sensor on the back. It also gets an additional camera for bokeh when shooting in Live Focus (read: portrait) mode). The LCD screen is still 6.2 inches, with a 1,520 x 720 resolution.
Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy A20s uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. This is a nice upgrade considering the Galaxy A20 is powered by an Exynos 7884 with a 3GB/32GB memory combo. At 6.5 inches, the display is a teensy bit bigger, it has to be said, but it’s still 720p.

The upgraded model also adds a third camera — a depth-sensing one — to pair with a 13-megpixel main camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera for landscapes and group shots. The 4,000mAh battery and 15-watt fast charging carry over from the previous iteration.
