A day after teasing the local launch of the Realme 5 Pro, Realme Philippines announced that a better C2 is now available nationwide.

Better in what way? The newest edition of its entry-level king, simply dubbed the Realme C2 2020, has double the storage… at a price that has not gone up.

Meaning the model with a memory configuration of 2GB RAM and 16GB storage — now 2GB and 32GB — is still selling for P5,490 (around $107). The 3GB/32GB variant, on the other hand, currently comes with 64GB of storage but is just priced at P6,490 ($126).

Other than that, everything is the same. Just like the original model that was launched months ago, the Realme C2 2020 features a 6.1-inch notched screen, 13- and 2-megapixel cameras on the back, and a 5-megapixel selfie camera.

Rounding out the smartphone’s specs are its MediaTek Helio P22 chip, 4,000mAh battery, and Android 9.0 Pie-based ColorOS 6 operating system.
