The technology giant has confirmed the details of the Huawei Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro’s official unveiling on Twitter.

Take note of the words “We’re going full circle” in the caption and the purple ring in the video. The post seemingly gives credence to the design in the leaked poster that made rounds online a few days ago.
Remember this supposed promo material showing the Huawei Mate 30 Pro? The circular rear camera module looks like the one Huawei shared on Twitter. We hope it’s true because we actually like the design.
The alleged Huawei Mate 30 Pro in a now-deleted post on Chinese social platform Weibo
In the leaked poster, you can see that the Mate 30 Pro retains the wide notch for the front camera and other sensors and rocks a waterfall-type screen. It also boasts four cameras. Three will probably be for wide, ultra-wide, and telephoto shots — just like on the Huawei Mate 20 Pro — and one could be a time-of-flight or ToF sensor — something from the Huawei P30 Pro this time.
Previous reports said the Mate 30 Pro features two big sensors. There’s 1/1.55 for the main camera, and there’s 1/1.7 for the ultra-wide one.

The significant camera bump could mean that Huawei is going to offer Moto Mod-like cases that can be connected to the smartphone wirelessly.
Recall that the company has filed an application with standards organization Bluetooth SIG [Special Interest Group]. The filing shows that it is working on cases that has something to do with gaming, amplification, and health.

We likewise believe that the Huawei Mate 30 series will debut with Kirin 990, which is already confirmed to launch September 6 at the IFA 2019 technology fair in Berlin, Germany.
