So it is not an Honor 20? Reports last month that the latter will launch in Malaysia as the Huawei Nova 5T contradict the listing spotted today.

The Nova 5T has shown up on Google’s Android Enterprise Partners page. And if we were to believe the few specs revealed there, it is not a rebranded smartphone from Honor.

First, the device — which runs Android 9-based EMUI 9 — is smaller, with the screen measuring 5.5 inches instead of 6.26 inches diagonally. Second, it features 8GB of RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of storage; the only Honor 20 available pairs 6GB of RAM with 128GB of storage.
The front of the Huawei Nova 5T is similar to the Honor 20, though; it boasts a display with small bezels and a hole-punch selfie camera. It looks like the side-mounted fingerprint sensor has been kept as well, based on the recessed part next to the volume keys.

Unfortunately, those are the only details revealed by Google. Information about its cameras, processor, and battery, for example, is missing. Even the back of the phone has not been shown, so we don’t know its rear design just yet.

When will the Nova 5T be announced? How much will it cost? Hopefully, we will get more details about it sooner rather than later.
