One of the most affordable smartphones on the market with a modern design just got cheaper.

Vivo Philippines has announced a permanent price cut for the Vivo Y91C, dropping its suggested retail price to P5,999 (around $117) from P6,499 ($127). This puts it in the same space as other budget handsets like the Huawei Y5 2019, Honor 8S, and Realme C2, among others.

A gradient plastic back and a generous (for the price) 6.22-inch LCD screen give the Vivo Y91C its appealing looks to go with its octa-core internals. On top of that, the back of the phone has a 13-megapixel camera, while the front-facer is 5 megapixels.
The phone does not have a fingerprint sensor. As an alternative, there’s face unlock using the selfie camera in the waterdrop-style notch above the display.
