Ever since we got a Rock Space Hi-Tensile 3-in-1 charging cable for our coverage of MWC 2019 in Barcelona, Spain, it’s been with us to every event we’ve attended. It’s convenient, it’s useful… it just makes things easier for people like us who tend to bring many gadgets because of work. Best of all, it’s super, super, suuuuppppeer durable.

It’s one of the Rock Space accessories we own now. Which is why we’re happy that the brand finally got its own formal launch in the Philippines.

About time, really. It started out here with its products given as freebies for OPPO phone purchases. Time to tell everyone that hey, we have solutions for your mobile needs — whether you’re an OPPO user or not; whether you’re on Android or on iOS.

Rock Space was actually established in 2009, but it just entered the Philippine market last year. Today, nine months after, it already has more than three concept stores, 27 concept kiosks, and 1,377 retail shops nationwide. Expect more branches to be opened within the year.

Not only that, it can be found online, too — on ecommerce sites Lazada and Shopee — for when you want to shop from the comfort of your home. No traffic, no hassle.

There are a lot of Rock Space accessories that are fit for your lifestyle. Into music, for example? You can get the new EB70 True Wireless Stereo Earphones for P3,999 (around $78). Think Hi-Fi Speakers and Digital Signal Processor for clearer sound transmission; Bluetooth 5.0 for faster connectivity; and IPX 45 rating for protection from water. Think long battery life — four hours of continuous use. Heck, it can even last up to 17 hours.

There’s the P1,299 ($25) Rock Space W20 Quick Wireless Charger with support for 7.5W/10W fast charging. It boasts smart-chip phone protection. Meaning it can automatically identify the charging current of the devices for you to avoid overcharging and short-circuiting. It’s slim and compact enough to be installed over your car’s air-conditioning vent, so you can charge your smartphone even while you’re on the road.

And then you have the Rock Space P66 Power Bank, which is priced at P1,299 ($25). Who can say no to 10,000mAh? Certainly not us! Even with that large capacity, the accessory is still handy, coming in at only 182 grams and in a size that’s smaller than your palm. Just like the W20, it’s equipped with protective features from overheating and short-circuiting as well.

When it comes to power banks, our favorite is actually the Rock Space Power Sack, which is selling for P799 ($16). Fine, it’s “only” 5,000mAh, but we love the design! And it’s available in colors that are easy to match many outfits, too.
