The Xiaomi Mi 9T has been launched in Europe, along with the Mi Smart Band 4 wearable, which features a color OLED screen and new band options.
(Update, June 14: It’s launching in the Philippines! See Xiaomi Mi 9T coming to PH soon, post indicates.)
The Mi 9T, as previously reported, is the global version of the Redmi K20 we saw debut with the Redmi K20 Pro in China in May this year. We also reported that the Xiaomi Mi 9T was sold in the Philippines through gray-market resellers prior to its anticipated official release.
Highlights of the smartphone include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730, a full-screen glass-and-metal design with an AMOLED display and in-screen fingerprint unlock, a pop-up selfie camera, and triple cameras on the back, with a primary 48-megapixel sensor and a secondary ultra-wide-angle camera.

In Spain, the Xiaomi Mi 9T will be offered in two storage variants — 6GB RAM with 64GB storage or 128GB storage. The base model is priced at €329 (around P19,304 or $372), while the latter is €369 (P21,651 or $417). The Mi 9T with 64GB memory will go on sale first on June 17 at a discounted price of €299 (P17,544 or $338).
If it’s coming to the Philippines, then it will probably be soon, as the device is already launching in a neighboring country, Malaysia, June 20th.

The Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro, said to be the Redmi K20 Pro for international markets, was curiously left out of Xiaomi’s announcement. This, despite numerous reports of its existence and earlier indications it would launch alongside the Mi 9T. The latest in the rumor mill claims that the Mi 9T Pro would offer better LTE coverage outside of China, thanks to its wider 4G band support.
Whether this means the model would be kept out of Europe remains to be seen, though it’s also a possibility the rumored Xiaomi flagship might be restricted to a few markets only.
