We’re just two months away from the Galaxy Note 9 successor’s expected August 10 launch, so it’s time to finally take a long, hard look at the leaks that have surfaced recently.

One of the more credible ones is that there will be not one but two Note devices coming out this year, and they will be called Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10 Pro.

360-degree videos and 5K renders courtesy of reliable tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer, known as OnLeaks on Twitter, now give us a better idea of what to expect.

One of the most obvious changes you’ll see is of the camera setups. The rear module is already positioned vertically, on the upper left side, and it consists of four sensors. A time-of-flight or ToF sensor has been added to the main + ultra-wide + telephoto system found on the Samsung Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10 Plus.

The Galaxy Note 10 Pro’s front, on the other hand, is composed of one camera. It’s a punch-hole selfie shooter that’s placed at the top center of what is reportedly a 6.75-inch edge-to-edge Dynamic AMOLED display with a fingerprint sensor tucked under it; 1,440 x 3,040p resolution; and support for HDR10+.

Along the right metal frame are power and volume keys. An S-Pen slot, a microphone, a loudspeaker grill, and a USB Type-C port are housed at the bottom of the unit, and at the top, you’ll see a SIM card slot, a secondary mic, and what seems like an IR blaster.

What’s absent this time? A 3.5mm headphone jack and a Bixby button.

Word has it that the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Pro will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 or Exynos 920 processor, depending on the region. Here in the Philippines, we always get the Exynos version.

The chip will likely be matched with up to 12GB of RAM. Rumors point to One UI based on Android 9.0 Pie, a UFS 3.0 storage, a 4,500mAh battery, and 45W fast charging, too — the latter, we’re hoping to be true because the Korean manufacturer has always served us a lowly 15W.

One of the two differences between the Pro and regular models is reportedly the size. The Galaxy Note 10’s screen is said to measure 6.3 inches — a bit smaller than the Note 9. There will likewise be three cameras on the back; the ToF sensor on the Note 10 Pro won’t be here. We guess the megapixel count will not be similar as well.

Besides those, you’re looking at the same slab of glass sandwiches.
