Nokia Android smartphones are on sale in the Philippines until tomorrow, June 8, at Lazada’s Mobiles and Accessories Fiesta and at Shopee’s 6.6 Lowest Price Sale.
We’re not talking about a small discount on all devices. We’re talking about up to P18,000 (around $347) off the original suggested retail price.
The handset with the biggest temporary markdown goes to the Nokia 8, which was launched in the country September 29, 2017, with an SRP of P29,990 ($579). It’s powered by Qualcomm’s 2017 flagship chip, the Snapdragon 835, and comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of built-in storage that can be upgraded up to 256GB using a microSD card.

The Nokia 8’s 2,560 x 1,440 screen measures 5.3 inches. Up top, on the bezel, is a 13-megapixel selfie camera. Around the back is a dual-camera setup consisting of two 13-megapixel sensors with Carl Zeiss optics for improved performance.
It’s running Android 7.0 Nougat when it first came out, but because the smartphone is part of Google’s Android One Program, it is now updated to Android 9.0 Pie. Nokia smartphones in the program, in case you didn’t know, provide up to three years of monthly security patches and two years of OS updates.
Again, the Nokia 8 is just one of the brand’s products that are on sale. Here are the rest of them:
