Earlier, we gave you a step-by-step guide to installing Play Store and Google apps on the China ROM-based Redmi K20 Pro. This time, we’re going to share the first batch of pictures we captured on the Xiaomi sub-brand’s flagship smartphone.
To refresh your memory, the Redmi K20 Pro — which could be called Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro in other markets — boasts a triple-rear-camera setup that consists of 48-megapixel primary, 13-megapixel ultra-wide, and 8-megapixel depth cameras. The selfie shooter is a pop-up one and has a megapixel count of 20.

Does the K20 Pro perform well in mobile photography? Can it go toe to toe with devices way more expensive than it is? Remember that it’s priced as low as ¥2,499 (around P18,716 or $362) — way affordable for the features it has and for something powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 chip. We’ll reserve our final judgment in our review.
For now, get an idea of how the phone performs not just in the daytime but also in the dark or when lighting is not sufficient.
