The OnePlus 7 Pro is now official with the company’s first three-camera setup which consists of a 48-megapixel primary sensor and a 16-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera for landscapes, interiors, and group shots.
Even better news: According to DxOMark, an independent photography-benchmarking website, the latest Android flagship from the Chinese technology company has the second-best rear-camera system on the market after the Huawei P30 Pro and Samsung Galaxy S10 5G, which are tied for first place with identical scores for their main cameras.

The Huawei and Samsung phones earned an overall score of 112 from DxOMark, whereas the OnePlus 7 Pro was given a score of 111, albeit on firmware that will be available for download on all handsets by the end of the month. It should be noted, though, that its extra-wide secondary camera falls outside the realm of DxOMark’s benchmarking and scoring. For selfies, a still-respectable score of 86 was handed out to the Pro’s pop-up cam, which appears only when needed.
The OnePlus 7 Pro earns high praise for its fast auto-focus system, accurate exposure, wide dynamic range, and good detail in midrange and long-range shots. Meanwhile, Portrait mode offers a natural-looking bokeh effect around the subject in the foreground. The onboard stabilization is effective, detail is abundant, and white balance looks accurate in general when shooting video. The full breakdown of the OnePlus 7 Pro’s front and rear cameras can be found on the firm’s website.
The new flagship is priced starting at £650, or approximately P43,890 or $839 when converted, for the base unit with 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage. It will be available from May 17 in Mirror Gray and Nebula Blue colors.
