The first stable public release of Android Q isn’t expected to roll out to Android devices until August later this year.
But it would appear that Huawei has already jumped the gun when it announced the list of phones that are in line to receive Google’s next major software update. It’s the first Android partner to make such an announcement, which covers flagship models released recently.
The list includes the following phones under the Huawei brand:
- Huawei Mate 20
- Huawei Mate 20 Pro
- Huawei Mate 20 X
- Porsche Design Huawei Mate 20 RS
- Huawei P30
- Huawei P30 Pro
These Honor handsets will also be updated to Android Q:
Unfortunately, Huawei has yet to provide a timeline for the software upgrade, but the company will likely release a forecast once Android Q becomes stable and drops on devices within the next few months.
