A new update for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, one of the most popular MOBAs or multiplayer online battle arena games around, has been rolled out today, May 7.
The latest patch contains several game-related optimizations and teases a new hero in Faramis, who makes his first appearance in the game’s original server. It also includes one stealthy improvement — as it’s not mentioned in the update log — that should make Mobile Legends a whole lot more enjoyable for owners of the Realme 3 Pro and other devices running on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor.
Check out the short clip below. We can confirm that prior to today’s patch, our Realme 3 Pro unit didn’t have a High Frame Rate option in the settings menu. Now, after installing the update, it does, as is shown in the video.
High Frame Rate mode on a Snapdragon 710 phone like the Realme 3 Pro
The patch released today allows Snapdragon 710-based models to run the game at a high frame rate of 60 frames per second when High Frame Rate mode is enabled in the settings, to make the visuals and movement look more fluid. Yes. Finally. Although to be fair to the developers of Mobile Legends, there aren’t a lot of devices out there that use a Snapdragon 710 even though it’s been on the market for a few months now.

So why the change? It might be partly because Realme, an official sponsor of the third season of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League, has lobbied to include High Frame Rate mode on the Snapdragon 710 in anticipation of the Realme 3 Pro’s release outside of India. As we have reported, the Pro will debut in the Philippines May 17.
Its other major highlights include a dual-lens setup at the back, a 25-megapixel selfie camera, and a 4,045mAh battery that supports 20-watt fast charging over microUSB. Realme claims it will take around 30 minutes to get the Realme 3 Pro up to 50 percent from zero.
