It has been almost three weeks since the Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20 were launched in India. But where’s the rumored Samsung Galaxy M30? Or is there even one?

Today, we got our answer, thanks to the Korean manufacturer itself. Yes, there’s an M30, and it will debut in — again — India on February 27, a week after the global announcement of Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S10 series phones.

Samsung India confirms the launch of the Galaxy M30

As you can see, the Samsung Galaxy M30 has three cameras on the back. A leak of the device’s schematic layout more than a week ago claims that a 13-megapixel primary camera is paired with wide and telephoto cameras that both clock in at a resolution of 5 megapixels.

The selfie camera is reportedly 16 megapixels, housed in the notch at the top of the smartphone’s AMOLED screen. However, it seems that the display is an Infinity-U, not an Infinity-V, based on the GIF that Samsung shared.

Like the Galaxy M20, the Galaxy M30 is supposedly powered by an Exynos 7904. It could offer 6GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, and a 5,000mAh battery.

Question now is when is it coming to the Philippines? We’ll probably hear about it locally after the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, and Galaxy S10e in the country.
