If there’s any doubt that the Vivo V15 — or Vivo V15 Pro, as they call it in India — is coming to the Philippines sooner than you think it is, then the company’s post on Facebook today should change that.
Vivo Philippines has started teasing the V11’s successor, saying that the phone is “coming up.” The phrase is a double entendre, referring to the upcoming local launch and the pop-up selfie camera.

Vivo first incorporated the feature into its first APEX concept phone then eventually included it in the Vivo NEX. This time, the pop-camera — a 32-megapixel one — finds its way into a midrange device.
There’s a triple-camera system on the back, and the primary sensor is confirmed to be of the 48-megapixel variety.

A 32-megapixel pop-up front camera and a rear module that includes a 48-megapixel sensor? Where have you heard that before? Yeah, the soon-to-be-announced OPPO F11 will have those as well. But it seems that the Vivo V15 is more pimped up, what with three cameras instead of two in the main setup and an in-screen fingerprint reader instead of a rear-mounted scanner.

A listing on benchmark site Geekbench hints that a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor powers up the phone. The chip is likely accompanied by 6GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage. The battery could be 3,700mAh with support for fast charging.
The Vivo V15 (Pro) is launching in India on February 20, the same date the Samsung Galaxy S10 series and Xiaomi Mi 9 will become official. It will probably get an official announcement in the Philippines in early March. In the meantime, we’ll leave you with our picture… 😀
