Vivo Philippines recently announced its best deals for the holiday season, featuring the Vivo Y91i, Y85, and Y95 at discounted prices.
The Vivo Y91i, which hit local stores just weeks ago, is now only P7,999 (around $151) from P8,499 ($160). It’s the most affordable Vivo phone with the brand’s Halo FullView screen design (that is, the notch at the top is much smaller compared to most alternatives in the market) for a high screen-to-body of 88.6 percent. That’s a lot of screen. Also up front is an 8-megapixel camera housed in the notch for selfies and video chat.

The back of the V91i features a fingerprint reader and a dual-camera array with 13- and 2-megapixels sensors, with the latter serving as a dedicated depth sensor for bokeh and portrait shots. A Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 powers the phone, coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB of expandable storage. There’s also a 4,030mAh battery under the hood for all-day battery life even with heavy usage.
The Vivo Y85, on the other hand, drops to P10,999 ($207) from a high of P13,999 ($264) at launch. It’s a fairly good deal considering the 12nm MediaTek Helio P22 inside the device is comparable in performance and efficiency to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 and Snapdragon 625.
Additionally, the 4GB RAM should be enough for visually intensive games and multitasking, while the 32GB of onboard memory can be expanded using a microSD card, if you need more space for your apps and files. The battery is rated at 3,260mAh and charges via microUSB.
We recently reviewed the Vivo Y95 and walked away quite impressed by its trendy aesthetics and two-day battery life. The 20-megapixel camera on the front manages some bright and crisp selfies with natural-looking skin tones, while the on-device artificial intelligence or AI is particularly helpful if you’re taking a photo of a human subject.
Despite launching only a couple of weeks ago, the Vivo Y95 is currently on the sale block, retailing for P12,999 ($245), which is P1,000 ($19) less than its launch price.
