We already know that a Huawei smartphone with an in-screen selfie camera — rumored to be named Huawei Nova 4 — is coming this December. The company has even informed U.S.-based technology site The Verge that it will have more news about the device on December 3, or probably December 4 in Philippine time.

What we failed to share was the handset has been recently spotted during the livestream of Chinese singer Jackson Yee’s 18th birthday celebration. Oh, it does have a hole on the upper-left side of the display, alright. But for people who are averse to the notch, a tiny, black dot could be so much better than the phone cutouts that we have these days.
Unfortunately, only the front of the Huawei Nova 4 was shown, so we have no idea what its back looks like. But rumors are rife that it will be similar to the one on the Huawei P20 Pro. A concept image was even shared online.

Could the Nova 4 actually inherit the P20 Pro’s rear design?
The smartphone is expected to be launched in China on December 12, with an international rollout probably set for early 2019.

Besides the Huawei Nova 4, the Samsung Galaxy A8s and Lenovo Z5s are also launching with in-screen cameras. The question now is which of the three will get the honor of making the official announcement first.
