ASUS ROG Phone Philippine prices, availability announced

The ASUS ROG Phone, currently the best-performing Android device in Antutu, is finally official in the Philippines. And just as we expected, the base model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at P49,995 (around $936) while the version with a whopping 512GB of memory is retailing at P61,995 ($1,160).

Each of the ROG Phone variants comes with the following free items:

AeroActive Air Cooler – worth P3,995 or $75
Hard bundle case – worth P2,495 or $47
ROG Phone jacket – worth P1,700 or $32

You can preorder the gaming smartphone starting today, October 28, until November 8 from any of the ROG and ASUS concept stores and ZenFone shops and kiosks. Reservation fee for the 128GB unit is P5,000 ($94) while the one for the model with higher memory configuration is P12,000 ($225).

For online shoppers, just visit the official ROG store on Lazada and Shopee. However, you will need to pay the full amount in advance via debit or credit card. And there’s no cash-on-delivery or COD option; after all, the ASUS ROG Phone is a high-ticket device.

Now, if you’re interested in the accessories announced at its global launch, don’t worry, ASUS Philippines is selling them in the country. Below are the prices for each of them:

TwinView Dock Station – P16,995 or $318
WiGig Dock – P13,995 or $262
Mobile Desktop Dock – P9,995 or $187
ROG Suitcase – P7,995 or $150
Gamevice Controller – P4,995 or $93
Professional Dock – P4,495 or $84

All six accessories cost P58,470 ($1,094), but if you preorder all of them, you’ll only need to pay P40,995 ($767) — equivalent to 30 percent discount.

For the whole set, you’ll need to shell out the following:

8GB/128GB – P90,990 or $1,703 (reservation fee: P15,000 or $281)
8GB/512GB – P102,990 or $1,927 (reservation fee: P20,000 or $374)
