That it’s co-designed by a car company whose name is synonymous with luxury should already tell you that. The model that pairs 8GB of RAM with 256GB of storage costs €1,695 (roughly P104,937 or $1,942). The variant with a whopping 512GB of memory, on the other hand, makes the steepest iPhone XS Max — retailing at P97,490 ($1,801) — look cheap by comparison with its €2,095 (P129,701 or $2,400) suggested retail price. It’s something we’d like to have, but the wallet says otherwise.

The Porsche Design Huawei Mate 20 RS is actually a Mate 20 Pro at its core. From the 6.39-inch AMOLED screen with a fingerprint sensor built into it; the Kirin 980 processor; and the triple-rear-camera system to the 4,200mAh battery that supports wireless reverse charging and fast charging under Huawei’s new 40-watt standard… it’s got everything the Pro has.
In fact, you can say it’s a pimped-up Huawei Mate 20 Pro with its bigger RAM and storage. And a design that screams Porsche, what with two strips of black handmade leather that flank the polished glass on the phone’s back. There’s also a red one that’s going to be limited to China.
