The Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro finally releases in China on June 25, alongside the Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 tablet. The smartphone will occupy the top position in Xiaomi’s entry-level handset line and is said to debut bearing multiple paint jobs, namely Black, Flame Red, Sand Gold, Rose Gold, and Lake Blue.

But to tease us further, Xiaomi on Friday shared some professional-quality photos of the Redmi 6 Pro in blue. They look great, obviously, and they give us our best look so far at the upcoming handset — front, back, and sides.

Xiaomi teases us with Redmi 6 Pro photos

The Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro will sport a back panel identical to that of the Redmi Note 5 (and Redmi Note 5 Pro in India), with vertically aligned cameras and a physical fingerprint sensor. It has a matte finish, though the panel seems to be made entirely of plastic. All the hardware buttons are located on the right-hand side, while the standard microUSB port sits on the bottom edge. The SIM tray, likely a hybrid one, pops out from the left cheek.

The front of the Redmi 6 Pro, expected to feature a 5.84-inch screen real estate, is covered by rounded glass. The display itself has a notch, though its bezels could be slimmer, especially at the bottom. The screen aspect ratio is expected to be 19:9; the resolution, 2,280 x 1,080 pixels.

A 5-megapixel selfie camera is believed to occupy the notch, while the dual-lens setup could house 12- and 5-megapixle cameras. The sealed battery will be rated at 4,000mAh, according to the phone’s listing on a Chinese certification website. Chipset-wise, the Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro will likely get a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 mated to 3GB or 4GB RAM and up to 64GB of storage.
