Samsung Electronics Philippines has added two “Galaxies” to its phone offerings, bringing to seven the number of mobile devices it has launched in 2018.
The Samsung Galaxy A6 and Galaxy A6+ will join fellow A series models Galaxy A8 and its Plus variant; the Galaxy J2 Pro; and of course, the Galaxy S9 and S9+ in store shelves nationwide starting mid-June 2018 (update: June 9).

The two are positioned as smartphones for those who are always stylishly ahead of the curve. The highlight here are the cameras, with the Plus’ back pairing a 16-megapixel sensor with a 5-megapixel one and the regular A6 getting the primary rear camera of the Galaxy A6+. Both share the same 24-megapixel selfie shooter.
As with the A8 units, the Samsung Galaxy A6 and Galaxy A6+ also boast Super AMOLED Infinity displays with 18.5:9 aspect ratio. Understandably, the latter’s screen is bigger at 6 inches; the A6’s display measures 5.6 inches.

The Exynos 7870 Octa-backed Galaxy A6, on the other hand, will have Gold and Black color options and a suggested retail price of P16,490 ($315).
