The Huawei P20 and P20 Pro have emerged as two of the hottest phones in the Philippines now, thanks to their combination of style and function and unrivaled camera capabilities.

As compelling as they are, though, neither phone comes at a price that most people are willing to spend on a new mobile device. That’s not to say Huawei’s latest flagships are overpriced, just that they’re priced higher than most options around them. And this is where CMK Cellphones comes in; the local retailer is currently offering the P20 and P20 Pro at a discount.

Instead of ponying up P34,990 (around $674) for the Huawei P20 or P44,990 ($867) for the Huawei P20 Pro, you can buy either device through CMK’s official website with a P5,000 ($96) discount, which drops the prices of the Huawei P20 and P20 Pro to P29,990 ($578) and P39,990 ($771), respectively.

It should be noted, however, that the discount only applies if the phones are purchased with cash, not plastic or any other mode of payment. CMK only accepts cash, for whatever reason or reasons.

The retailer says that the units are brand new, registered with the Philippine certification body for mobile phones (to be clear, we’re talking about the NTC), and come with a full year of warranty from the manufacturer. It doesn’t list which color options are available, but it’s likely that Black, Midnight Blue, and perhaps even Twilight, are in stock now.

Another thing to note is that CMK doesn’t have a system in place for completing orders online, meaning you’ll have to call one of the numbers listed on the website during office hours to place an order. It defeats the purpose of establishing an online presence, for sure, but if you really want that discount, you’ll have to put in the work and punch in those numbers.
