There’s no doubt that the Samsung Galaxy A6 and Galaxy A6+ are coming. They’ve already been spotted on Geekbench and on Samsung’s website itself. Today, we’re getting a better look at the devices, courtesy of serial leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer — known as OnLeaks on Twitter — and tech site MySmartPrice.
The two released video renders of the upcoming Galaxy phones. Check out the clips below.

Off the top of our head? The Samsung Galaxy A6 and Galaxy A6+ look like the Galaxy A8 (2018) and A8+ (2018) that were released in the Philippines in January for P26,990 (about $518) and P32,990 ($634), respectively. Which is not a bad thing because the latter two look gorgeous. This means that you won’t have to pay more if you want the same design as the A8 variants.
The regular A6 is tipped to measure 149.9 x 71.5 x 7.8mm and have a 5.6-inch Infinity Display with 2,220 × 1,080 resolution, 441ppi density, and 18.5:9 aspect ratio. It’s believed to use an Exynos 7870 octa-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM. The 7870 is the same chip found inside the Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro.

The Plus model, on the other hand, is said to measure 160.2 x 76.2 x 8.3mm and feature a 6-inch Infinity Display with the same resolution, pixel density, and aspect ratio as the one on the smaller A6. Instead of an Exynos chipset, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 625 is matched with 4GB of RAM. The 625 is a mid-market processor based on 14nm technology that can also be found inside the likes of the Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus.

Word has it that the Samsung Galaxy A6 and Galaxy A6+ will be the first handsets from the A series to sport a microUSB port instead of a USB Type-C port. They are expected to launch in the next few months running Android 8.0 Oreo-based Samsung Experience 9.0.
The Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) and Galaxy A5 (2017) were priced at P23,990 ($461) and P19,990 ($384), respectively, at launch. Will the A6 models be in that price range, too?
