The Samsung Galaxy A6 and Galaxy A6+ may just be the next models in the Korean tech giant’s A series of smartphones to be scheduled for release.
A device with model number A605FN — widely believed to be the Plus variant — has already popped up on Samsung Poland’s support page. There are no details listed there yet. We’re guessing information will be filled as soon as the handset becomes official.

Recently, a leakster on Twitter has claimed that the Samsung Galaxy A6 will have a 5.6-inch Infinity Display with 2,220 × 1,080 resolution and 441ppi density. It’s said to rely on an Exynos 7870 octa-core processor, the same chip found inside the Galaxy J7 Pro. The regular A6 will supposedly be available with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.

The Samsung Galaxy A6+, on the other hand, is tipped to boast an Infinity Display with 2,220 × 1,080 resolution and 441ppi density, too, but this time one that measures 6 inches. 4GB of RAM and 32GB of built-in memory will allegedly be paired with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chipset. One smartphone that uses the processor is the Xiaomi Redmi 5.

Some of the details divulged are in line with the information revealed on Geekbench. Except for one. According to the listing on the benchmarking site, the bigger A6 will be powered by a mid-market Snapdragon 625, not 450. The 625 is higher-end, but both are based on 14nm technology. That means you should still expect good battery life whichever Samsung ends up using.
