They not only reveal the look of the smartphone, but some of its features as well. Below is a clip that’s made to look like a trailer for the movie Pacific Rim: Uprising. Call it a cross-promotion effort. And it’s about what it takes to be part of the company’s MIX team.

At the 1:16 mark, you’ll see the full front design of the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S (it’s what we used as our main image here). As with the other members of the MIX family, it has more of the screen and less of the bezels, with the bottom being a little thicker than the one on top.
The second video — which shows an unlock icon and the faces of artists like Van Gogh — hints at the device’s ability to recognize a face. It doesn’t matter if you have a beard or if you’re wearing a hat; Xiaomi seems to claim the phone is intelligent enough to do so.

There’s not much detail about the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S other than those, but it’s rumored to come with a 6-inch screen with 18:9 aspect ratio; a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor; two cameras at the back; a 3,400mAh battery; and wireless charging. The most expensive model may have 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal memory.
