Alleged details of the upcoming handset have poured in recently, although nothing so far has given us a clear picture of what the ZenFone 5 Lite might look like and offer in terms of outward features. Well, not until recently at least.

Thanks to notable industry insider Evan Blass or @evleaks, the internet now has an ASUS ZenFone 5 Lite render to speculate on — and a good one at that. As the alleged image shows, the phone will have a glass-and-metal construction with minimal bezels to compliment a taller display.

Allegedly the ASUS ZenFone 5 Lite
There are four cameras sensors in total — two each on the front and back. According to Blass, there are two 16-megapixel cameras at the rear, while the front array uses a pair of 20-megapixel sensors. He also said the ZenFone 5 Lite will come in these color variants: Midnight Black, Moonlight White, and Rouge Red.

These are reportedly the available colors for the ASUS ZenFone 5 Lite
Earlier reports indicated the screen might be 6 inches diagonally, with a resolution of 2,160 x 1,080 pixels and a picture format of 18:9. A Qualcomm processor with at least 3GB of RAM is expected under the hood. What we don’t expect is a headphone jack anywhere around the sides. A photo showing what is believed to be a ZenFone 5 Lite unit hinted at the inclusion of two bottom-facing speakers, as well as a Type-C connector.
Given the ZenFone line’s popularity in some markets, including the Philippines, it’s likely that this won’t be the last time we see the ASUS ZenFone 5 Lite before its MWC reveal. We’ll be sure to report back when something related and substantial hits the interwebs.
