So you’ve been thinking of splurging your 13th month pay on a Huawei Mate 10 or Mate 10 Pro. Guess what? With Huawei Philippines’ trade-in program, you may not have to shell out more than P30,000 (around $593) on its newest flagship phones, after all.

Here’s the not-so-good news, though: Not all smartphones are eligible for the promo. Besides Huawei devices, the company is accepting only handsets from Apple and Samsung. And even then, it’s only for select iPhone and Galaxy units.
These are the phones that are included in the program:
- Apple iPhone 6 Plus
- Apple iPhone 6S Plus
- Apple iPhone 7 Plus
- Samsung Galaxy Note 4
- Samsung Galaxy Note 5
- Samsung Galaxy Note 8
- Huawei Mate 7
- Huawei Mate 8
- Huawei Mate S
- Huawei Mate 9
You can get up to P28,600 ($565) off the P32,990 ($652) Mate 10 or P38,990 ($770) Mate 10 Pro when you exchange any of the devices on the list on or before January 14, 2018.
We’re not sure how Huawei Philippines will determine the trade-in price of your smartphone, but if we are to base it on the company’s past promo, it will probably depend on the following: your handset’s “screen, cosmetic outlook, and basic operation.”
