Just letting you know, in case you missed the announcement, that the vivo V50 Lite Series arrives in the Philippines tomorrow, April 12.
(Update, April 13: Check out how much the vivo V50 Lite is in the Philippines!)
Adding to the excitement, vivo celebrity endorser Maine Mendoza will be hosting the grand unveiling event at Robinsons Place Manila’s activity center, starting at 4 p.m.
While local pricing details are still under wraps, it’s worth recalling the price points of last year’s vivo V40 Lite series. The 4G variant started at P12,999 or roughly $227 converted, while the 5G model was available in two configurations: 8GB/256GB for P14,999 ($262) and 12GB/512GB for P17,999 ($315). Following the trend of its predecessor, the vivo V50 Lite Series is also expected to offer both 4G and 5G versions in the Philippine market.

Visually, both models in the lineup maintain a consistent design and boast the same IP65 rating for dust and water resistance. A significant highlight is their shared massive 6,500mAh silicon-carbon battery, supported by blazing-fast 90-watt FlashCharge wired charging. This technology promises a full charge in under an hour and a 50% charge in a mere 20 minutes.
And as expected, that massive battery translates to multi-day usage on a single charge, even allowing for a claimed 27 hours of continuous YouTube streaming. Even better, vivo assures long-term battery health, guaranteeing that the V50 Lite’s battery will retain at least 80% capacity even after 1,700 charging cycles.
In other specifications, the vivo V50 Lite lineup features a vibrant 6.77-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, coupled with a sharp 50-megapixel main camera and a 32-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies. The main differences lie in the secondary camera on the back and the chipset. The more premium variant includes an 8-megapixel ultrawide and is powered by a more powerful MediaTek Dimensity 6300 5G chip. In contrast, the 4G model features a 2-megapixel depth sensor and the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 processor found in the previous generation.
