HONOR Philippines has officially pulled back the curtain on its latest flagship. The HONOR Magic7 Pro, which debuted internationally earlier this year, is now available for preorder locally, signaling the brand’s continued push into the premium smartphone space.
Priced at P59,999 (roughly $1,046), the Magic7 Pro slots in exactly where its predecessor, the Magic6 Pro, sat last year. That price gets you the 12GB RAM/512GB storage configuration, powered by Qualcomm’s top-tier Snapdragon 8 Elite silicon. To sweeten the deal, those who preorder until April 25 will receive a free pair of JBL Soundgear Frames, valued at P9,499 ($166).
HONOR is leaning heavily into the “AI Phone” narrative this year. The Magic7 Pro runs Android 15-based MagicOS 9.0, which is infused with various AI-driven features. Magic Portal 2 lets you circle on-screen items to quickly access related apps — think finding a landmark in maps or looking up a movie showtime. It also integrates the industry’s first on-device AI Deepfake Detection to combat potential scams during video calls by analyzing pixel-level inconsistencies. Other AI tricks include real-time translation across 13 languages and AI-powered summarizing within the HONOR Notes app. Naturally, Google’s Gemini AI assistant is also onboard for contextual help and creative tasks.
But let’s talk cameras, because that’s arguably where HONOR often flexes its muscles. The Magic7 Pro boasts what the company calls the HONOR AI Falcon Camera System. This includes a 50-megapixel main sensor with a variable f/1.4 aperture and a large 1/1.3-inch sensor size, paired with a 50-megapixel ultrawide.
The star for us, however, is the massive 200-megapixel periscope telephoto lens, enabling features like HONOR’s 100x AI SuperZoom, which we used often during our recent international trips. HONOR was already showing off comparison shots against unnamed rivals in challenging nighttime zoom scenarios before the launch, suggesting confidence in the phone’s long-range capabilities.

AI enhancements like the Harcourt Portrait Modes, AI Enhanced Portrait, and AI Motion Sensing Capture aim to improve shots across various conditions.
Under the hood, beyond the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite 5G chip, HONOR is touting AI-driven performance optimizations like AI Real-Time Rendering and Predictive Scheduling for smoother gaming. Keeping things running is a sizable 5,850mAh third-gen silicon-carbon battery, which supports blazing-fast 100-watt wired and 80-watt wireless HONOR SuperCharge technology. A full wired charge should take about 33 minutes with the right charger. An E2 chip handles power management and battery health monitoring.
The display is a 6.8-inch LTPO OLED panel with a variable refresh rate and high peak brightness specs noted previously. HONOR is highlighting its “Natural Light HONOR AI Eye Comfort Display,” incorporating features like 4,320Hz PWM dimming, Circadian Night Display, and Natural Tone adjustments to minimize eye strain. For durability, the screen is protected by HONOR NanoCrystal Shield, claimed to be 10 times more drop-resistant than typical glass, and the device carries dust and water resistance certification.
The HONOR Magic7 Pro can be pre-purchased now in Lunar Shadow Grey and Black through HONOR Experience Stores, partner retailers, and online via Lazada, Shopee, and TikTok Shop until April 25. For those looking at installment plans, Home Credit offers are available starting at P2,484 ($43) per month over 18 months with 0% interest. It’s a packed flagship, clearly aiming to compete on camera prowess and the increasingly prevalent AI feature set.
