Antutu just dropped its March 2025 performance rankings, giving us the rundown on China’s elite Android flagship and sub-flagship smartphones.
Which devices took the lead, and what chipsets are driving their performance? Let’s break it down by category.
Top 10 flagship smartphones
MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400 seized back the top spot with the vivo X200 Pro, which achieved a monthly average benchmark score of 2,902,298. Recall that the vivo flagship, debuting in October 2024 alongside the vivo X200 and vivo X200 Pro mini, introduced the Dimensity 9400 to the market. The device leverages TSMC’s 3nm process, Arm’s v9.2-based second-generation “All Big Core” design, and advanced AI functionality. It launched in the Philippines last December with a P69,999 (around $1,223) price tag.
Three other phones powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 made it to the top 10: the iQOO Neo10 Pro at No. 3, the OPPO Find X8 Pro at No. 8, and the OPPO Find X8 at No. 10. The rest run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite 5G chipset, with the iQOO 13 at the helm.
Top 10 sub-flagship smartphones
MediaTek processors decisively ruled the January 2025 sub-flagship rankings, powering seven of the top ten sub-premium handsets. Leading this MediaTek charge was Xiaomi‘s Redmi Turbo 4, which landed first with a 1,738,244 monthly average benchmark score. Notably, it also holds the distinction of being the world’s first device to use the Dimensity 8400-Ultra. This chip is the Taiwanese manufacturer’s strategic move to deliver flagship-level performance capabilities within a more accessible, mid-range price bracket.
Qualcomm-powered phones filled the remaining slots, led by the Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 3-based OnePlus Ace 3V, which attained a 1,452,756 rating last month.
