See the future: TECNO AI Glasses Pro, TECNO AI Glasses launched

In Accessories, Wearables by Alora Uy Guerrero1 Comment

If you thought TECNO only brought its A-game with smartphones at MWC 2025, think again. The brand also introduced its AI Glasses Series, which consists of the TECNO AI Glasses Pro and TECNO AI Glasses.

The two wearables aren’t our grandma’s spectacles. TECNO has gone for classic designs, giving us a sleek browline for the Pro model and an aviator style for the standard edition. They look like, well, regular glasses and not some sci-fi prop, which is a huge win.

Imaging is a focus here. Both models boast a 50-megapixel camera — a bit serious for something sitting on your nose. TECNO has also crammed in an OV50D sensor, a 100-degree custom ultrawide-angle lens, and an AI ISP chip. Basically, you’re getting a mobile-grade camera system in an eyewear that’s designed to take crisp, clear photos with AI-powered noise reduction and HDR.

@revuphilippines Can you? 😎 #TECNO stops at nothing with its #TECNOAIGlassesPro (and #TECNOAIGlasses) launch at #MWC25 in Barcelona, Spain! And we got to try the eyewear for ourselves. Testing the eyewear with our fellow content creators

The Transsion Holdings brand’s Ella AI assistant powers the TECNO AI Glasses Pro and TECNO AI Glasses. We’re talking real-time translation for over 100 languages, even the less common ones. Plus, voice control, object recognition, and information summaries. Just glance at something, and you get all the info you need.

They come equipped with an advanced ultra-linear speaker with bass enhancement and spatial sound. Expect connectivity to be seamless also with Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4.

The Pro version is the one with the camera at the center

We at Revü got to spend a bit more time with the AI Glasses Pro at TECNO’s booth in Fira Gran Via Barcelona, Spain. This one has an AR display — a MicroLED display with 7th-generation resin waveguide technology — projecting info right into your field of view. Translation displays, navigation, information prompts, even a teleprompter.

During the hands-on sessions at MWC, comparisons with the Ray-Ban Meta were inevitable, and honestly, TECNO seems to be holding its own. Battery life? TECNO claims over 11 hours of music playback and 8 hours of mixed use with a 250mAh battery, blowing the Ray-Ban Meta’s 4-hour, 149mAh battery out of the water. And the 50-megapixel camera? It’s a significant upgrade over the Ray-Ban Meta’s 12 megapixels, at least based on megapixel count. TECNO’s glasses are lighter, too, which is crucial for all-day comfort.

Of course, Ray-Ban Meta has the whole Meta ecosystem going for it. But TECNO’s focusing on raw specs and innovative features. It’s betting that a powerful camera, long battery life, and the Pro’s AR display will win people over, especially with the right price. It’s exciting to see how accessible the company is attempting to make such advanced tech.
