Remember when the Huawei Watch D2 launched globally and eventually landed in the Philippines?
There was a real stir about its Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring, and for good reason. It was, after all, the first smartwatch here with ABPM. It grabbed our attention, especially considering our own rollercoaster ride with blood pressure. We were thinking, “Could the Watch D2 actually be a game-changer?” But you know how it goes — press releases and launch events are one thing, real life is another. So, we decided to put the smartwatch through its paces.

We didn’t just wear the Huawei Watch D2 around the house; we took it on an overseas trip to see how it held up in the chaos of travel. We wanted to know, practically speaking, how it felt on the wrist all day, if it fit into our hectic schedules, and most importantly, if those health features were actually reliable. Could the wearable really be that “lifeline” we were hoping for?
Our video, albeit short, goes beyond specs to touch on our everyday experience with the Huawei device’s smart features, from notifications to connectivity; assess its design and daily usability; and examine its value against competitors.
